I haven't posted for quite a long time. This post is for help me slow down and experience each day and moment. To remember again the ordinary moments.'s almost gone. What a beautiful one it has been. Life has changed, I have changed. God has not. He is so good and I am so thankful for his blessings!

                                      Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
     He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
     He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
    for his name's sake.
 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

    in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
 Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord

To Lift My Eyes UP

Thursday, November 20, 2014

I know I need to lift my eyes up, but I'm to weak life just won't let up.
But I know that you can give me rest, so I cry out with all that I have left.
Let me see redemption win, let me know the struggle ends, that you can mend a heart that's frail and torn. I want to know a song can rise from the ashes of a broken life, and all that's dead inside can be reborn.
