I haven't posted for quite a long time. This post is for me...to help me slow down and experience each day and moment. To remember again the ordinary moments. Summer..it's almost gone. What a beautiful one it has been. Life has changed, I have changed. God has not. He is so good and I am so thankful for his blessings!
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surelygoodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwellin the house of the Lord forever.
I know I need to lift my eyes up, but I'm to weak life just won't let up.
But I know that you can give me rest, so I cry out with all that I have left.
Let me see redemption win, let me know the struggle ends, that you can mend a heart that's frail and torn. I want to know a song can rise from the ashes of a broken life, and all that's dead inside can be reborn.
Wow, I haven't posted for the 52 weeks project in awhile! I've taken all the pictures from past weeks, but I'm just going to post my most recent. Kimberly is doing an amazing job picking out the quotes for the challenges! : )
I'm 18, and in love with life's ordinary moments. Jesus Christ is my life. I would be nowhere without the love and mercy of my Heavenly Father and Saviour.
So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.
And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
